CNS stimulants are among the most commonly encountered substances in behavioral health practice and may be used medically, recreationally, or as part of a broader pattern of substance use. This course provides a practical, clinically relevant overview of commonly used stimulants, including cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription amphetamines, methylphenidate, caffeine, and nicotine, with attention to their pharmacological properties, patterns of use, and associated clinical risks.
