Barbel Prior is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP) and Licensed Clinical Supervisor (LCDCS) with over a decade of experience in addiction treatment and behavioral health care. She holds a Master’s degree in Ministerial and Counseling Studies from International Seminary and offers Christian counseling and pastoral counseling services for individuals seeking to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process. Barbel’s clinical experience spans both residential and outpatient settings, including roles at BHG Recovery, Phoenix House, and Providence Metro Treatment Center. She has managed large caseloads, conducted intake and discharge planning, led individual and group therapy, and collaborated with medical providers on medication-assisted treatment, all while maintaining a client-centered and trauma-informed approach.

With experience in outpatient counseling, detox units, and long-term recovery settings, Barbel understands the complex emotional, relational, and systemic factors that impact recovery and mental health.
