Katherine Wilson

LMHC-A, M.Ed.

Katherine Wilson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) with a strong foundation in both school-based and outpatient clinical settings. She holds a Master’s in Education Counseling from Providence College and completed a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College. Her background also includes years of experience in educational and community-based mental health roles, bringing both clinical knowledge and advocacy experience to her work with clients.


Katherine is passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and systemic stressors. Her experience with diverse populations, including survivors of interpersonal violence and students in underserved communities, informs her strengths-based, client-centered approach. Katherine is especially attuned to issues of cultural identity, gender, and empowerment, and she works to create a safe, inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds. Katherine incorporates a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive counseling frameworks. She is a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer and has led groups focused on emotional regulation, academic stress, and self-advocacy. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, relationship concerns, and school-related mental health challenges. Whether working with teens or adults, Katherine brings warmth, insight, and collaborative support to help clients build emotional resilience and move toward their goals
